Hi,

I was thinking of buying a flightpower receiver pack lipo for my .50 nitro bird since it'll be about 100 grams lighter, but I was wondering:

is 1600mah enough for my 3*9451 servo's and logictech 6100 gyro combo, or should I take 1800 or 2100 mah?

how much flights can I make on a 1600 about?

and last but not least:
what's the difference between the evo-lite packs and the evo-RX packs? they both weigh exactly the same.

thanks a lot

I use a 1600 on my ION-X with 3-9451's, 6100 gyro combo, and powerjazz esc. I am slowly increasing the number of flight on it each charge but so far I am getting eight 4.5 minute flights without any problem and only putting back 700-800 mah per charge.

The evo rx packs have 2 power wire sets with servo style plugs and a balance tap. 1 power wire set to run your regulator and another for a charge/test lead.

The evo lights only have one set of power wires with no connector installed and one balance tap.

so how many flights do you get on 1 charge?

thanks

I get 5-6 with both my Ion and Trex600 but I am not Mad 3D guy.

so a 1600 EVO-RX pack is the best way to go for both performance(lightweight) and able to make a couple of flights.

as long as you have a load tester.. why not?

I think Dan's packs are 1800's and like him, I usually consume on my L14 or a T-REX 600 about 200 - 250 mah per flight, although they are short E-Heli Flights. Use your load tester and stop at 7.1-7.4 depending on how much you want to push it. I usually do about 4 flights, then charge/balance which usually takes about 30-45 minutes at 1C.
