Hey guys I'm trying to pick out a lipo and I don't know what I want to use. Everyone seems to be using 2x3cell like 3300mah around there and I was wondering if there is a way to take like a FP 3300mah 6cell and take it apart since you can't really mount a brick lipo on the hurricane? Or will that fit without modifications? I got the century 600+ motor. Can you guys make some suggestions? 2 of the flight power 3cell 3300mah is a bit pricey for me. I was planning on running a used 6s battery because that is in my price range.. What is the target weight range for the battery pack on this heli?

Haha ok guys. I asked what would get me 4-5minutes 3d flight time with my century 600+ motor and 500mm carbon blades and Bob said the 3700mah 6s would get me about 5minutes.

is that 6s as one pack or is that two 3s packs due to the stock frame configuration? thanks for info!

I'm going to use a 6s brick. I can make it work 1 way or the other.

A lot of battery companies will reconfigure your Lipos. I got 2 TP 3s2p packs reconfigured to 3s1p packs.

Just an idea. You can do it yourself also if you can solder or spot weld the aluminum tabs.

I don't mind doing my own but how much did they charge you to reconfigure them?

Your gonna have to email or call and ask them. I think it was 20 bucks to get my 2 packs reconfigured. 3S1P seems to be a good size if you fly both fixed and rotary wing. Then just add packs in parallel or series until you get where you need to be.

It's not too hard to reconfigure or build your own lipo packs but you need to know how to solder to the aluminum tabs.

Yeah, I know how to build packs but it would be soo nice to just have them reconfigured at factory.
