9303 2.4Ghz Heli w/o servo's in stock anywhere?

I did call about mine. They told me, "Well, if you get an e-mail in the next day or so with a tracking number, it's on it's way. If not, you'll be waiting 3 to 4 more weeks"

So far no e-mail. I ordered 11/16. You?

One week after you, 11/23 (that will teach me to waffle).

The interesting bit is, and I'd call it hopeful, was what I learned when I called last week. He said they'd gotten in like 4 acro and 6 helis, and that he was hoping he'd gotten 40 and 40, as that would have filled all the orders plus left him some stock. That tells me that he's gotten 26 out of some 38 ordered, so it should be close. Of course, the 20 may be split between the two as well, making it closer to 16/38...

Here's hoping for Christmas!

I talked to Todd the other day. He told me thos e20 will fill about 70% of his backorders.

And he is expecting another 20 next week or so. So everone should have them by Xmas. :)

I am getting one, but to due to finances, need it to show up a bit later on the credit card.

Hmm.. I spoke to Todd about 10 days ago and he said he'd ordered 50 of each and if he got all of 'em, that'd take care of his backorders. Funny he told you he'd have more next week Pinecone.. He told me on the phone yesterday it wouldn't be until after the 1st of the year.

As of two mins ago, no e-mail and my order still shows as "Processing" on Todd's website.

I wonder if torkboy has received confirmation on his. He ordered 2 days before me.

Well maybe he heard something after he talked to me. It was first thing Monday morning (his time) that I talked to him. And he DID tell me that the 20 of each coming in would take care of 70% of his backorders. :dontknow

In any case, it looks like I'm not gettin' mine with this latest shipment. 2 days with no e-mail or update on their web site. :(

*UPDATE*: I'm number 3 for the next shipment. All the heli versions have been shipped.

I wonder if anyone will match Todd's pricing.

I got my update today, and found out I have five ahead of me, and the next batch is expected the end of December/early January. Guess I know who a couple of those five are ;)

Here's hoping those dates are extended a bit by someone to help set expectations, and we'll really be seeing some next week!

What Todd told me was that he's seeing them every 3-4 weeks. I told him I was hoping to get the radio before Christmas and he told me that's probably not going to happen.

The really bad news is the LSH sold their two rigs Wednesday and yesterday, so they're now looking 3-4 weeks out too...

Same story here. Mine is sitting about 20 minutes south of me, and got there on Friday. I called first, and discovered the same story about Saturday. It makes me want to go to the store and say "you mean, you have something that belongs to me in the back room, and you're refusing to give it to me?".

I know. It wouldn't do any good. The idea of righteous indignation still has its allure, however.

JUST got mine.. The balance sucks - guess I need to zing fireup for one of his balancer gizmos. Programming looks fairly straightforward, but I'm not sure how to change models. Perhaps if I looked at the docs. :) Wish there was a printed copy instead of the CD version...

Kids have a Christmas show they're performing in at school tonight so it's unlilely I'll get to play with it much tonight... :(

I got a manual printed at Kinkos in advance of getting the radio. They misprinted it, putting the page numbers near the spine instead of the edge. It's yours if you want it. PM me your address and I'll stick it in the mail tomorrow.

hehe, just shipped 'em the thing for printing. Should have it in my paws 1st thing in the morning. I have one of my 600s and my DX7 here at work so I just copied all the settings from my DX7 to the 9303 so I should be close once I get the Rx in the bird and power it up.

Gonna bug outta here in a min. Hopefully I can mess with it later tonight.

EDIT: I got my V-Bar Logo set up first since most of the config is on the V-Bar itself. Then my CX/2 since it was trivial. I hope to move the T-Rex 600 later tonight, but the 450 is going to take some more time given the gyro weirdnesses.
