Just starting to run a 600N. I've set it up for limiter mode only. When do you really need the governor?

When you want to show off amongst the guys :)
You don't need one. It's a "nice to have"... for some or if you don't want to figure out how to setup your throttle curves

Governor makes a world of difference and makes quick work of setting head speeds.

When you bang up your heli after a hard auto when the motor dies from being too hot after sagging it out a bunch.:Slap
