I have been using a DX7 and now just received my X9303 2.4 and started setting up models. JR wants the Gyro gain plugged into the AUX2 channel, but all the 6CH RX's do not have an AUX2. On the DX7 you would use the GEAR channel for the gyro gain. Is there any way to use the GEAR channel on a 6CH RX with the X9303 programming.

"On the DX7 you would use the GEAR channel for the gyro gain"
with a 6 channel receiver, you would do the same. you just wouldn't be able to use the gyro screen. just use the travel adjusts as on the dx7. I just got my 9303 so i will be looking further into this as i will have the same need in case something is different.

I can get the GEAR CH to work using the GEAR switch and endpoint adj., but then you cannot use the GYRO programming with FLIGHT MODES in the radio. The radio forces the gyro to AUX2 and I see no way of changing the assignment. Seems like a you would be able to, since you can do this exact thing in the DX7, XP8103 and XP6102 that I have used.

There's an explanation on how to do this in the latest RCheli Magazine review of the 2.4 9303.

I cannot find anything about this review. I checked the current RCHeli Mag at my LHS today and have searched all over the net. Do you have any more info?
Thanks,

Sorry, it's in the August issue. This issue reviews the 9303 2.4Ghz. In that review there's a sidebar that explains how to do it.

I don't have RC Heli Mag. Aug. Issue. Does the artical say you can use Gyro Sense on Gear channel? Or are they using travel adjust?
I can not seem to assign my Gyro Sense to Gear channel on my X9303. It only wants to work on Aux2. So for now, I have to live with travel adjust.

JR Support's response:
Mark, thank you for the email. The only way to use the gyro sense in
AUX2 from the radio is use a 7CH or greater receiver, you cannot use it in a 6ch receiver.

You would think that if their cheaper radios let you select the gyro channel, the X9303 would. Go figure. I guess it's travel adj.
