i having problems getting proper alignment.using a 9254, ,servo is mounted as per finless in lepton video.output shaft towards the tail.

the problems i am having are...

1.i have the rod adjusted as short as i can get it and the bell crank arm is not quit parallel to the boom(it is very close).the belt is adjusted a little tight already so i can'nt take boom back any more to get the little bit i need.
2.according to to manual is says to use a round wheel.it does'nt give enough travel in both directions.ball it mounted abt 7-8 mm out from center.lepton video, bob says 12.5 but the rod is very close to the rear boom block with round wheel,it will hit at 12.5 mm.
3.manual says use ball with no shoulder,to me rod is binding on wheel,i replaced it with ball with shoulder, clearance is good but the rod is twisted from the tail to the servo running through the 3 guides which i think will cause problems.

just wonder what other did that installed a full size servo and if they had any of these problems and what they did to fix them.
thanks.mike

I turned the rear boom block upside down, the frame needs to filed away to allow for adjusting the screw. I also removed all the rod guides and use a 3mm carbon tube as the push rod.

This allows then to have a 12 mm distance for the servo arm, and everything is nice and straight.

On my 3DX500 I hat to change the ball links with the middle ones supplied in the kit. After changing it was perfect.

I used the multiple cross and could fix it at about 10mm. That is working fine for me.

I used a ball with shoulder, too.
