Hopefully someone out there can shed some light on what I am doing wrong. I switched from the JR9303 to the Futaba 14MZ and now I am going through the learning curve. The following are my settings and then I'll explain what is happening:

Channel 1 throttle
2 Rudder
3 Gyro set to switch-G
4 Aileron
5 Elevator
6 Pitch
10 Aux 3 - AP2000 slider-LST

In normal mode the gyro is "on" set at 45% and the AP2000 is "off", however, anything above 45% on the Gyro will not allow it to be turned "off".

Idle 1 - Gyro turns off and AP2000 shoots up to 100% gain. Flip switch "G" (gyro) off and the Gyro turns "on".

I have the AP2000 mix for calibration on MIX 1: master - Aux 2 & Slave AUX 3 set on Lever-LS. It calibrates correctly.

Everything was working just fine with the JR and I can't figure out what I have done wrong with the 14MZ. More than likely it is something simple.

Anyone have any ideas what's the issue??? Thanks..

On the 14MZ each flight condition can be setup independent of the other flight conditions.
Set Normal mode like you want it to operate. Then flip into idle up and set everything in that condition like you want it operate. Probably not much help, but not sure you was aware the 14MZ would do that. When flipping into each flight condition it is like changing models some say. LOL You have to set up each flight condition.

AND remember to change "GROUP" to "SINGLE" before you change, otherwise your settings will copy to other modes that are "GROUP" 'ed (on the same model only).

Also the order of the conditions control what overrides what as I recall.
