Hi Everyone

I have just finished building my new mini titan e325 but have no idea what to do next. I have fitted the servos but dont know what channels to put them in. Also i have no idea what to do next. I have the new 2.4gz futaba T6EX.

I have watched the help vids, which are brilliant, but i am still stuck on what to do next ie what channels to put the servos in and what to do after that

as you can guess i am new to this

any help welcome

cheers

Have you read the manual for your radio? The back servo goes to channel 2, the others go to channels 1 and 6 (doesn't matter which to which). The e325 manual has very good section on how to setup your swash plate for eCCPM. Between that and the Tx manual you should be able to figure it out.

Watch Finless Bob's videos, even though they are for Trex...in particular the electronics video.

Hmmm the Throttle on most Futaba radios is channel 3, not 1, are you sure? You need to read the manual, the channel lineup is printed on pg 10 (http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/6ex-2_4ghz-manual.pdf) in the diagram below that, replace the throttle servo with the ESC leads. Before you turn it on DISCONNECT the motor from the ESC, if the throttle channel needs to be reversed, the heli could spool up. At the very least you may accidentally program your ESC's throttle curve in backwards. Instructions on how to make the heli respond to the collective begin on pg 33 of the e325 manual. Read it! It is a very good explanation.

i also have the futaba 6ex 2.4ghz transmitter and the r606fs receiver. i would highly recommend you send the combo back and get a refund and buy another transmitter such as the dx7. i'm disappointed that i bought mine ( i had a big lack of knowledge) and it doesn't come with sub-trim, a timer, only 1 idle-up mode. but anyways....here's the set-up for the mini-titan and hs-65 servos (if thats what you have)

aileron servo (forward right)channel 1
elevator servo (aft) channel 2
pitch servo (forward left) channel 6
esc channel 3
gyro channel 4
remote gain channel 5

once they're all plugged in (if you're using hi-tec servos) you'll reverse channels 1 & 3 in the reversing menu. keep your swash set up as 3-S and set Aileron to -50 and Elevator to -50 and Pitch to +40 and that will get everything moving properly as well as getting your pitch set up as a good starting point.

watch finless bob's ccpm setup videos.

hi ppl, this conf it's rigt , i dont have futaba , i have optic6 , but maby this hellp
aileron servo (forward right)channel 1 Rrigt servo
elevator servo (aft) channel 2 Rear servo
pitch servo (forward left) channel 6 left servo
esc channel 3
gyro channel 4
remote gain channel 5

the swash plate mast be 120º , and the 3 steps mast be ch1 +70º ch2 -70º ch3 + 70º ( the 2º ch. in sam radios go to +70 , this apend wen the rear servo do a difrent move ex: 2 go up and back go dawn )

if you ha back and left go down and rigt go up you mast change the conectors 1 to 6 and 6 to 1

you mast put all radio trim on 0 and sticks on midel position , then put the servo armes at 90º, and it shod be ok, 1 mor tip , if you ar using hs55 servo because the servo monte its uper you ned to add samthing to put it forward, so the link stay mor on vertical position, you can use sam servo arm or in may case i get 2 ruber servo mont from begar servo and it fits ok.

to save bat and fligt long time for beguiners , the start point to the heli go up its wen the throttle stick its on medle position and if the heli dont stay satbel (and came dawn) give a litel bit of spedd on throttel trim , this is on normal fligt thro. 0 25 50 75 100º , pitsh. 0 25 50 75 100º , then you can compensate withe mor or less pitch, PS. i use the motor and esc from the kit, the idea it to fligt withe a god RPM because if you have mor RPM then nessesary you go to have a very stabel heli but onli 4 or 5 minuts in the air , withe a 15c 2100ma lipo i flyl for 20/30 min duing a normal run.

Cuote( "chuckk" set up as 3-S and set Aileron to -50 and Elevator to -50 and Pitch to +40 "(+50)" ) this valeus mast be equal so the shash do the same novment.( but it cud depends from the radio you mast se if the shash its leved on up pos. midle and dawn)

i hope this hellp , and sorry for my english
