I have upgrade the motor to Z10A-3300kv (the red version) to use with 3s 2170 25C on 15T. I use stock ESC with Medusa BEC.

The problem is that motor has difficult to start. It moves very little and discontinued. I have set the timing on HIGH and the rest of the parameters are set as DEFAULT.

I see that if i make the head rotating by hand and then i apply some stick it start well, but it goes up in rpm not constantly but pumping.

There is other parameters to set or this motor and ESC combo are incompatible?

Thanks

I wish i could help out,
cause I'm also interested to use the Z10A on the ACE ESC in the near future.

Some things to try maybe:
Did you try to program all ESC steps again, one by one?
Did you try to enable or disable the Governor?
Did you also try standard or auto timing for the motor?
Did you try different battery protection settings?

Eric

I will try, but it is the first time that i need to start the motor by rotating by hands the rotor head...

I heard that with the stock TT esc, you have to enable the governor for it to work good on some motors. If you can , get the Align ESC, as its cheap, and you don't need to run a BEC with it.

Will work my Quark33A v2? Or Z10 has too much amp?

The Quark should be more than enough to handle the Z10A.

Yes i read the spec of Quark and it is rated 33A constant and 50A max for 10sec so i think that if the motor is rated 35A max i will have no problem... i hope.
