Neu motors have the reputation of being one of the finest motors you can get.

If I could just justify the price of one... it would be my motor of choice to try out.

I am not familar with that model... so I will leave that for someone else.

If you get one... PLEASE let us know what you think. I would come up with the money for one... if it was all that and more ;-)

I'm sure that it will be but I think it is more suited to 8S... I seriously considered one of these for my 10S rig but the Kv is a little too high (cannot get the gearing right).

I have Neu motors in three Trex 450 based helis (Rotorworkz frames) on 3S, 4S and 5S and I just KNOW that you will be happy with this motor if you go for it. Make sure you get a H (Heli) version and be very specific about the Kv that you get.. the 1100Kv is the only realy option if you want some flexibility in the battery config (6S/8S or A123s up to 9 or 10S).

That model Kv is 1100 Kv, I compareed the spec with Z30 and Century 600+ and almost same. Neu 1515/2Y/F is 1100Kv 1500W same as Z30.

As I remember it... the Neu's are hand wound motors... which in electric motors... is optimum for performance.

UK - I didin't realize there were different versions (H - heli). What do they do different in the H version?

Hmmm looks like they may not do a 1515 H series yet - http://www.neumotors.com/20061222/Heli%20Motors.html

1512H yes... not a 1515 yet.
