Was flying yesterday, it was rather windy (15-20 mph at times). Flying in normal mode, I noticed that the tail would drift to both the left and right with throttle changes. I can't recall which way it would go on power increase but it was always opposite with a decrease.

I hadn't made any changes and it was windy the day before, though not as bad, but I didn't notice it then. Is this something I have to deal with in normal mode or whats up? Didn't see much of a difference when I adjusted the sensitivity in the radio (dx7) though I didn't go too far.

I think as I increased power the tail would drift to the left and decrease it would come back to the right. If power was steady (rpm constant) it seemed to hold fine.

How's the tail the rest of the time? When you commad a turn then let go of the stick, does it stop right away, bounce back, or hunt at all?

Any chance you have revo mixing turned on? You could always plug a servo directly into the RX (where the gyro is normally plugged in) to see if that servo moves when you move your collective.

You dont even have to do that, just see if the light starts blinking when you move the collective stick.

I dont think its that though, I would have seen that when I messed with it. Take a look and make sure your belt isn't slipping.

Doesn't the light always blink? Sorry for my ignorance.

The gyro light should be on solid, if you move the collective it should stay on solid.

A double flash pause means it is getting a rudder or trim input, in the case of revo it will do it any time you move the collective stick from where it was when the gyro booted.

A slow single flash means its not initialized properly and or the single wire isn't plugged in or the gain on the radio isn't set right.
