I recently picked up a new Blade CX2 as my indoor foul weather helicopter. I've been doing "fast" laps in the basement with it. The thing really comes alive when you're doing coordinated rudder/cyclic turns in forward flight. It's a nice little machine. For the nights and colder weather, I feel like it will help keep me sharp on the sticks.

Question:
How long is normal for charging that 800mah LiPo with the E-Flite Charger? On the first couple of charges, mine seems to take between 1-2hrs. That seems like an awfully long time. By a voltage test, I know that I am not overdischarging the cells. Is the E-Flite charger just really really conservative? Am I better off charging it with my regular LiPo charger?

Charge it with a dedicated LiPo charger and it should never take more than an hour to charge. The stock charger spends alot of time balancing the cells, hence it takes a lot longer.

I've always balance charged my LiPos and it's never taken as long as it takes for that little E-Flite charger.

Something is very screwed up there, are you sure you are charging on the correct settings? You should be putting back around 650mah into the stock battery.
