I had a problem with my Stratus last weekend.

The right side bellcrank came off while hovering about 10 ft up and the heli went straight down and hit hard. I only had about 7 or 8 flight on it at the time. It looked like I didn't have enough locktite. It took out the blades, flybar, flybar stiffener, and tail boom and stripped the gears in most servos but no damage to the frames. I was not happy to say the least.

Now I think I will check every single bolt after each flight for probably the next 10 flights just to make sure nothing is getting loose.

I am currently putting it back together, hopefully I can fly it again this weekend. It hovered very well compared to my other machines with practically no vibration. I haven't gone into FFF with it yet as I haven't had my canopy on.

Sorry Niko, that really sucks

You busted the boom? How about the TT gears?

I usually check all the bolts a few times after a (re)build.

The tail gears appear to be fine. I have since flown it twice (hovered only) in winds gusting to 30mph and it did very well. I have also replaced the main shaft which was bent and the spindle. I don't think the spindle was really bent but I replaced it anyway.
