I've just got the T REX 450 V2 PRO but i'm told the battery that comes with it isn't that good, could I get a link to a quality battery please? (I'm in the UK so a UK shop would be better)

FLIGHT POWERs all the way.... you can't go wrong.

My back ups are Air Thunders or Kong Power

Thunderpower is my choice.
i have both flightpower and thunderpower batteries for my trex450 and trex600; they are both excellent batteries (i cant tell them apart power or quality wise), BUT when something goes wrong, thunderpower fixes it NOW.
example; i puffed a cell two weeks ago on a battery that was about one year old.
Thunderpower replaced it FOR FREE and shipped it to me BEFORE they had my old battery to even inspect!
THATS customer service!

As we all know TP has stepped up to the plate with the warranty but only because FLIGHPOWER was doing it right from the begining. Both manufactors do a great job although the quality is still pointing towards FP for a more balanced product. if you read many forums you see alot more post with FP having better warranty and the crash and smash which lead the way for change in the industry. The term commonly used which Flightpower came up with is now being copied by TP is "SIMPLY THE BEST" should tell you something.

I've used the Align packs and don't care for them much at all. It will work great for just putting around, but I don't think they have the longevity of the TP's/EVO's/Air Thunders. I've never tried the Evo's myself, but a flying buddy and I compared notes on similarly flown packs and they both seem the same. (1C charge rates, mild-mid 3D maneuvers, batt monitors etc...)
