I'm considering getting a 90... and the aurora looks sweet.... and the price is right too... but I cant find it anywhere.
Who sells it? I see an avant logo on heliproz... but no products listed.

I'm going to assume you aren't joking.
It hasn't been released yet.

Your join date on Helifreak is Dec 2006. So your definitely not new to this forum. I would guess you read other heli forums also. So I would think you have found the answer to your question on all the forums if you have read them.
David
Currently the only place I know that will carry them is HeliProz. I am sure other dealers will as well. However since the heli has not been released yet we really dont know.

removing post... thanks for the replys
you know I'm not new to this forum, but I'm fairly new to nitro helis.
I have read about deposits being down since last year, about delivery dates supposed to be after IRCHA this year... which is some time ago... I even see the auroro adverts on the main page linking to a site that says under 1k.....
That said I have not seen a recent post that states people are still waiting, or that it has been released... hence my post.... my first on the avant thread.
Is the avant section the RTFM section, or everyone just under the weather today?
Sorry that others felt to blast you... thats why I responded the way I did... I didnt want you to feel... abused. I hope the tone of my post was more what you were expecting.

If you got your feelings hurt. Then let me be the first to apologize. I guess I just assumed that everyone that frequents these forums knows the status of the Aurora. The question you asked pops up every couple of days on the various forums. As Andy sort of stated, most of them are jokes. Also there are posts made everyday about people still waiting for the release of the Aurora on the various forums.

I posted such a question a while back, i had seen so many people with it I thought it was release also, I had to do a lot of reading to catch up.
Do any one remember the release of windows 95, what a difference it was over the older windows version, seems like a long time ago, i was a sys admin then, sure beat Unix command line and ksh script writing.
I think the aurora will compare, time will tell!!!

Forums are definitely the place to get bash'd ;)
I didn't know about the aurora until last weekend myself. I also assumed it was available because of all the advertising I had seen and the fact that pilots were flying it. I am not a nitro guy though so I don't really follow that stuff.

The avant aurora is like a fine wine, the more we wait the better it gets, be patient, saw one fly a few months ago, holy "#$%" I´m waiting for one.

Did not see a price for the kit. When I click on the kit, there is nothing there. As for the parts list. Looks like a list of hardware and bearings that would/could be used on the EFX.
Didn't see any frames or tailbooms listed. The rotor head has been around couple of years, so nothing new about those parts. Just my observation.

David,
You are right, I just looked at the sub category (Aurora) and did not pay much attention to the actual parts listing. So much for getting my hopes up. I just have to be a bit more patient.
I did however see a ad that a friend brought to the field for me last weekend. He had received an order recently (about a week ago) from Heliproz and with his order they put in a small flyer with some products. The Aurora was clearly shown and also had a list price. I believe it was 985.00
Now it was a sent with his recent order but it might have been a
old ad that they did not revise, but decided to reissue without modifying. Hard to say for sure.

Yes I guess those canopy grommets, brass sleeves for carbon rods, tail gears, are unique. And that Velcro strap, never seen them used on any other helis. LOL

David,
Funny I see a Aurora tank, and landing gear and lots of parts that won't fit anything else. None of that stuff went on the FX/EFX.

Main shaft, flybar, CCPM levers spacers and shafts, main shaft bearing blocks, canopy posts, engine mounts...
I believe are all from the FX/EFX also
