i would like to try to update my Tx as i have had it for nearly a year and i'm becoming comfortable with its settingup and functions.

Futaba Flyers Club has all the updates posted on that website.
http://www.14mz.com/ The FFC is in the top right corner. You have to be a member to access it. Not difficult to get access, just contact Bill Baxter with Hobbico.
Also RCFAN ( Felix) here on Helifreak has a website that he stores all the downloads. So you can get them from his website also.
