Hmm. I like the Xtreme LiPo packs 18C 850 mAH for $21. Note that these will NOT fit a stock CX2 battery tray, though. Both of mine are modified and I use a velcro strap and pads to hold in place.

Or the DN Power LiPo's 15C 850 mAH

For $20. This is a stock fit for CX2.

Both types of packs have 15 cycles and still going strong. Anyone have any longevity data on the packs that LockMD is talking about or are they too new as well?

Hey guys FlightPower has an EvoLite 2s 800 BladeUpgrade pack just for the CX's. It even come with the OEM plugs so you dont have to do any soldering and can use the stock charger if you need to. The good thing is its roughly $5 cheaper than the E flight battery!

Does this pack fit the battery tray? And I sure don't see them on any US sites yet. Darnit!

yes it does fit, its longer and skinnier (almost too skinny) but mine has not fallen out yet and oddly enough it does not mess with the CG either. Got mine frome Australia, didn't take any longer then ordering from the east coast (4-5 days)

The only down-side is that site has it more expensive than the E-Flite pack, rather than the $5 cheaper as stated. Guess I'll wait...

Those are actually crimped on, then slid in to the housing. They're pretty easy to do, but you'd have to be careful to do it right so they never touched.

I'll still probably wait for the "real ones" to appear over here somewhere. I've got a few of the E-Flite ones, but am dedicated to the FP quality if I can find it.

Careful with XUSHobbies.com. They are famous fo letting you order and pay for products that they don't actually have in stock. I hate that.
