volume levels?

the heli motor/blade volume level is quite low on my machine, even turned up to "100%".

I can crank up my speakers, but after I do, I get a nasty surprise the next time I play a youtube video or even get new mail.

Does anybody have the same problem? Does phoenix-sim patrol this board?

Mine works fine, you can email Phoenix, they will help you out.

Make sure you update to the latest version (1.04i). As I recall, there were some volume issues in earlier versions.

I had the same problem. Here is how I fixed it. Go to Sounds and Audio Devices within the control panel. Select the Advanced option within Speaker Settings. This is found within the Volume tab. Go to the Performance tab. Turn Hardware Acceleration to NONE.

That's what worked for me. Hope it helps.

no kidding? would have never thought to turn of hwx. I played around with the mixer a fair amount... will try this next opportunity.
