Futaba 6EX 2.4 and Futaba 607 reciver?

I have a futaba 6EX 2.4 as a extra transmitter while waighting on a 2.4ghz module for my 14MZ.
I will use the recivers later for my 14MZ. Do you folks know if i can use the 7ch rx for my 6EX?

Here is futaba' compatability chart. In it they show the 6ch receiver compatible with the HIGH end transmitters only. They dont list the 6EX at all. I looked in the 6EX manual & sales flier & they dont cover this at all.

My best guess is maybe. Hopefully sombody from Futaba will chime in.

I just tested the 607 on the 6EX 2,4ghz and no problem:)

Hi Giggen,

Yes, the R607FS will work with the 6EX 2.4GHz transmitter. In fact Futaba is discontinuing the R606FS that comes packaged with that transmitter.

There will soon be an FAQ on our website concerning this discontinuation of the R606FS.

"The R606FS was discontinued and is being replaced with the R607FS. As the R606FS was not compatible with the TM-7 and TM-8 modules, it was felt that it was a better move to go with the R607FS which is compatible with all Futaba 2.4GHz modules and transmitters."
