Got my manual in the mail yesterday. It's quite large. LOL.
There are some good tid bits in there that I didn't pick up on just messing with things, but for the most part, yes, it's there on the screen. One thing I saw in the manual is that you can control the "size" of the trim movements. It doesn't change the total trim, just how far the trim moves with each push of the button.
I just like to have the reference, especially when I'm in a pinch out at the field.
Cheers!

On a different note what application would you use the levers for?

Aiming a camera (left/right/up/down) is the best application I have seen on a helicopter.

Gotta love technology. LOL. It's a nice size manual. I tried to get a neck strap out of them too, but that didn't fly. Cheap buggers. My 9Z came with a neck strap! Had to give it up with my 9Z though. :-(

Just odd when I called them they wanted me to pay for it. Just a matter of "talking" to the right person I guess.

I don't know how long ago you called, but they may have gotten enough complaints in the interim to change the policy. I always try to put it into terms of long term customer satisfaction and that usually works. And it's 100% valid.
As I've said before I've had issues with a small number of Horizon products. The earliest and first were QC/Design issues with the first GS ARF Extra they sold. This could easily have kept me from purchasing much more from Hanger 9/Horizon. When I explained my issues to them, they did a good job of making things right. Frankly I was surprised. But with that action they "bought" my trust and brand loyalty.
Thus far even as smaller issues have crept up with products I've purchased from them, they have always made things right. As a result, they've gotten the majority of my hobby budget in sales. Much more then they "gave up" to satisfy my issues. I will continue to be a loyal customer as long as they produce good products and stand behind them.
DA is another company like this. Their products are not perfect, but they stand behind them. This is good business practice and why some companies can't see it, I will never understand.
Cheers!

I was never asked to pay. Manual showed up yesterday. They must have overnighted the thing 'cuz I didn't get shipping confirmation until Thursday afternoon.

Mine was printed and bound normally, not spiral bound.

The reason I keep asking, I got one that is bound with a pastic spine. But it is not in color with glossy pages.
Sounds like several different things out there.

No color or glossy pages. Not really required.

Mine showed up nicely bound but no color. I turned the kids loose with a new box of Crayola crayons (the big 128 color box!) and a 2L bottle of Mountain Dew.. Can't read a damned thing in it anymore, but it's pretty. :)
