is it possible? over a period of a coupla weeks, i noticed a little 'jump' when switching from normal to idle-up, and it seemed to be getting worse...deciding to fix it, i went back to my pitch curves, and found them quite a bit different (around hover stick position, where i flip the switch.) i thought i set them for smooth transition...maybe not...or maybe my fut9chps has a poltergeist in it?...ken

The poltergeist is probably a combination of you and the pitch trim knobs.
Go into HOV PIT and HOV THR and inhibit both of them. Chances are the little knobs are different from when you set it up. They only effect normal mode and they are useless if you use a 3/4 stick hover because as you saw, they only effect the center stick pitch and throttle points.

thanks, andy...i didn't think my model memories could change by themselves...i didn't think about the hov throttle/pitch sliders, which i don't use anyway...as soon as i rendevous with my xmtr at my other place, i'll look for the hover inhibit feature...again, thanks a lot...ken

There's a few things I do when setting up a CCPM heli.
Enable idle up and make all settings from there.
Set my three middle pitch points to 50 to center the servos and get the arms straight, that way the stick only has to be somewhere near the center, And the first thing I do is disable HOV-PIT, HOV-THR and REVO or if its a super REVO is disabled but you have to go in and kill off HIGH/LOW PITCH by setting the options to MANUAL and NULL or the sliders on the side effect the high and low pitch points.

excellent advice, andy...i initially setup my ccpm just as you recommended - "Enable idle up and make all settings from there."
i also use your second recommended step - "Set my three middle pitch points to 50 to center the servos and get the arms straight, that way the stick only has to be somewhere near the center."
however, i haven't been doing your next step - "And the first thing I do is disable HOV-PIT, HOV-THR and REVO or if its a super REVO is disabled but you have to go in and kill off HIGH/LOW PITCH by setting the options to MANUAL and NULL or the sliders on the side effect the high and low pitch points".
btw, i just came back from a gusty, drizzly flying morning, and your fix seemed to do the trick on my logo10-3d...i'll recheck my other helis when i take them out...thanks again...ken
p.s. have you thought about creating a ccpm setup guide for the fut9chp super? you seem to know and explain the xmtr a lot better than the manual...
