Yep, thats designed to use the trim, full back to cut, mid trim or so to idle w/o the clutch catching.
Hi helimodelista,
I don't know if this works but you can try this.
I have a PCM9X II and what I understand of it, is that is the same as yours, but no 2.4Ghz.
In the THRO TRIM menu I have the next settings
THRO CUT at -15%
And mine engine runs at Idle with a THRO TRIM of 48.
If mine THRO/pitch stick is below 10%, and I flip the TRN/SN ROLL switch (also the timer switch) it will activate a -15 trim on your servo and cut the engine.
I hope this helps

I want to be able to throttle cut while in throttle hold... Is it possible?
I don't think so.
I tryed it, but it the thro cut switch only works when thro hold is not active :(
The only thing that is possible (as for I can tell from the manual) is that you can cut the engine with the thro hold switch (set it the hold Pos to a - value)

In thro trim i can't find thro cut...
I now made a cut by mixture 3 in timer switch do a less position of thro servo.
When i turn on the radio, the thro is cut. I have to press time switch to idle position of throtle.
When i press time switch all position of throtle stick it lower servo position.
Until now i cant find aonther way.
Than your 9309 is different than mine PCM9Xii.
I real think the software would be the same , sorry about that :(
Just to make shure, mine Thro Trim screen looks like this (see attachment)
