I noticed that my radio has a rattle when I shake it...I thought something was rattling around inside but after taking the back off and removing a couple of the boards I couldn't fid what is rattling,......
I gave up before taking it completely apart and breaking my radio trying to find it.......I then went to my 7chp and gave that a little shake and it to sounds like something is rattling.........
does anyone else hear a rattle (seems to be coming from the throttle side) or should I inspect more to find the cause....
My radio works fine but thinking someting is floating around in there bothers me.....
plastic buttons on front pannel?

Finally, someone as paranoid as I am !! I ordered a charger one time and when I took it out of the box I noticed something was rattling when I moved it. I was sick on my stomach for about 3 hours until I realized it was the plastic programming buttons moving around in their holes....perfectly normal. I'll shake my DX-7 when I get home and see if I hear anything. I won't be able to sleep tonight if it rattles. :rolling

well..held the buttons....switches.control sticks....still rattles.....almost sounds like it;s comming from under the front chrome pannel.....but not any loose buttons
ok.....I'll admit it.....it's driving me nuts.......someone, please shake your dx7 for me.....
dimcmichael I'm not planning on sleeping too well until I find out if this is normal or not.......I might just have to rip this thing apart....although I might find the rattle I might screw up the radio finding it...

OK...I got home and shook the dad-blamed thing. I get one rattle on the left side everytime I shake it (no kidding). I have over 100 flights on my TRex 600 and have had no problems. I am going to consider it normal and not worry about it. Now I am going to go look in the mirror and see if the vein on my right temple is bulging as much as the one on the left. If they are dissimilar I will have to go to the urgent care center tomorrow.

well I'll be damned.....mine isn't the only one then.....my rattle is on the left side also.....must be something in the design then that makes it rattle.....
I can rest a bit easier now....I could rest alot easier though if I knew exactly what it was that was that is causing it........but I'm going to just try and let it go....
