I know this is early but my wife needs to "bid" for vacation time and her time slot to bid is now.
Since she works an odd work week (Sat - Wed), we need to plan things ahead.

So with all that:
Does anyone know what the dates of the IRCHA Jamboree in Muncie will be for 2008?

It was Aug 9th - 12th in 2007, so my guess is, if it's in the same week, it would be Aug 7th - 10th.
If I can't find out for sure I'll just tell her it's the 7th - 10th and then hope I'm right.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Well, the Nationals is 15-19 July, so expect a month or so afterwards?

Yea, I appreciate that. Thanks.

So, does anyone have the specific dates?
If I could find out by tommorrow before she has to put in for her time off, that would be great.

Is that official or you just throwing dates out there?
Usually the AMA Nationals run till late in the first week in August. So I would think it would be after the Nationals are over. That is what has determined the dates to use the AMA site the last few years. The AMA has not posted dates for the IAC events in 2008 yet.

Per Dave Millner the dates are Aug 14-17. These dates were confirmed about 1 hour ago.

I love her, but her job is a pain in the rear. :arggg:

:) She got her vacation dates changed! I think she did a swap with someone.
It sucks being "low 'man' on the totem pole" when you have to bid for vacation for the upcoming year.

Anyway... I'm there!

*****Fingers crossed***** We're hoping that school doesn't start till the week after IRCHA! last year we had to make a fast trip out of it....and it nearly killed us! I really would like to pull the camper up and stay 4 days or so.

We're planning on attending in 2008, which will be our first IRCHA. In addition to the competition events, are there any for casual flying if you bring your own bird?
I haven't began any 3D, as I'm still trying to find those funny 3D Glasses to wear when flying!

yeah man, there is plenty of room and time to get lots of flying in. Even more so if youre on 2.4. You will have a blast.
