Gaui 50 amp ESC documentation [Archive]

Is there any documentation for the Gaui 50 amp esc anywhere? Other than the little bit in the Hurricane550 assembly manual?

I received a yellowish sheet (separate to manual) with 'Correction" on the top-->

I wasn't able to find the online instruction that Finless eluded to in his setup videos, dosent mean much though i rarely find stuff i look for online LoL...

yeah, I got that same sheet. There must be more documentation somewhere. You say perhaps online?

I believe I heard Finless Bob mention it was on the GAUI website in his setup videos (the first flight vid for memory) ...I think :-S

The info on that page is all that you need though...

When i wrote them an email for the right documentation for the 50A ESC, they send me
that pdf back (see attached)

Thanks Heimo. Still can't find anything that lists all the states and parameters of the esc. How do you have yours configured?

I spent some time in Graz back in 1976-77 at the American Institute of Musical Studies, have great memories of that time. In my pre-helicopter days... ;)

Hi dpa!
I use the LIPO mode and the heli-gov mode. Works well so far with the stock motor

I spent some time in Graz back in 1976-77 at the American Institute of Musical Studies, have great memories of that time.

Hi!
take a look at the updated manual available from Gaui -> http://www.gaui.com.tw/en/H550_Instruction_Manual.pdf
Be aware of that there where a few Escs which had Governor in 2-3 not 2-4. If you have a new one 2-4 should be the right setting. You should use 1-1 for Lipo Mode too...
