So hi there. I have absolutely nothing of interest to post here I but was directed here by Bighands (whom I have a nightly rendezvous with Monday through Friday  uhhh, because we work together). I do have a Sniffer, a Super Sniffer that I fly once in a while and I have a GeeBee that I'm working on with my son.

Bighands brings these way cool helis to work and since I've stopped riding motorcycles for a while, I've gotta have something to do until I find another one, I thought I might get back into flying a bit.

Anyway, I'm just gonna lurk and learn. Maybe this old worn-out mom will find something I can participate in that my son will enjoy as well.

If anyone comes around South Georgia to fly, shoot me a PM and we'll come and watch.

:happyd

Nah, no rounds. We've actually worked for the same company for a while but just met when I switched departments and we got into a conversation on road racing -v- drag racing and then he brings in a huge heli  , I bring in a new Suomy helmet, :glasses: he brings another heli  , I ride my Ducati to work  and it's all been dowhill from there. Torturing others with talk of RC flying, snowmobiles, motorcycles, cars and jet-skis.

We're quite boring to the others really!

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm really enjoying the galleries and words.

Yeah, Gotta love anything with motors in it.
The dukes have a great sound. I have a Honda VTR1000 with Jardines and the rumble is very nice down low and it raps when I get on it hard. I put a couple of pics in my gallery a while back.
Keep um rolling. ;)

Superhawk! MMMMM, love that sound! Question, sorry it's not heli-related but how far can you go before filling up again? I've been looking for Japanese reliability but I can't let go of the twin sound. I've considered the Superhawk but I keep hearing that the tank doesn't hold much. I'm known to go out and put 600 miles on a bike in a day and I love the long twisties so stopping for gas all the time is out of the question. My last Duc would go about 230 miles before another fill-up.

Any insight for me?

I get about 130 miles to a tank. Yes, it's small but I'm usually ready to stretch the legs by then. I'm getting too old for such a bike. Although it holds just over 4 gallons the reserve light on mine comes on at 1.2 gallons. I have coasted into gas stations before by forgetting that yellow light was on for 40 miles.
