I got my CarbSmart today so I need to come up with a mount for the mixure control servo. Does anyone have some pics of a Stratus or any other heli with a custom mount for an engine mixture servo? I have seen 2 of these, but I was looking for more ideas or any tips?

Well, I was trying to think up a mount to make out of carbon fiber/plastic/etc when a friend suggested something much easier. The servo is held on with 3M two sided tape and a zip tie. There is a little hot glue on both sides of the servo to help hold the zip tie in place, although it didn't feel like it would move anyways. Does anyone see any problems with how I mounted this?

Check the lateral forces. If servo doesn't move than it is right. Check also after a flight for vibrations problem moving the servo.

My only fear is that the little micro servos may not hold up to the vibration of a nitro model

I used micro and mini servos for a number of years as a mixture control servo. No problems with it on a nitro model. I even double sided taped a couple of them like Funky posted .

Here's how I did mine but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Very nice Scrub  I had something similar in mind before I took the simple approach.
I have only had 4 flights since mounting the mixture servo, but it is holding up great so far. This servo flew over 300 flights in a Trex though.... I may replace it for peace of mind. I just wish the weather would cooperate so I could get some flights in :(

This is my version for a Futaba 9650 servo. Not a great photo but it is an old Fury Extreme clutch plate with the top cut off and then turned upside down. Works a treat as the hole for the clutch bell is perfect for the servo.
Works well for me.
