I noticed Towerhobbies has the mx450 for $149.00 now. That kind of price cut usually means close out.

well, that sucks. i mean it sucks that i spent almost $800 on an ultimate combo that i can now get for $680, and it sucks that probly once all the parts in stock for it are sold out, they'll have no more.

Yep I was thinking about selling my MX-450 but there's no point in that now. Couldn't get anywhere near what I have in it.

at the price of the arf, i'm going to buy another one. spare parts. i've also emailed towerhobbies to see if they'll do anything for me, since i just dropped all that cash and now the price goes down. maybe they'll comp me $100 credit.

I emailed them about this b4 my purchase -- they said only the mx400 line is going -- the 400 pro and 450 "will be around for awhile"

Hey dizzymarkus,
I think they mean the mx400 pro was going . because they already say discontinued if you try to order one.
I posted a couple links a few days ago
http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=53891
or maybe they are planning on stocking the parts for the MX450 and 400 pro but kill the parts specific to the original mx400 ?
anyhow I just ordered another std mx400 :-) .. with the intention of using it as a beater through the winter :-)

ehhhhh -- I got rid of the email -- but it did say "the mx400 pro and mx450xs are staying around awhile, while the mx400 will be phased out" -- Im guessing because of the ccp head -- not Eccpm :0)
Im led to asume that the parts and kits will be available as thats what I asked. -- "Will kits be available or just parts".
Hope this helps,
Markus
