Ok, I must admit, I'm not much of a groupie when it comes to buying the latest and greatest on the market. However, with a little under a year's experience as a "Swash Flyer" I'm as excited as everyone else about the pending debut of the Aurora. Now, make no mistake, this is not a complaint or "time to release" bashing thread, as I do mass production on a much different scale, and know what Augusto is up against. I entirely support his project and am enthusiastic about seeing the finished product on the shelf and in my hands. :-D I would however like to know from all the positive outlooks out there, what everyone is looking forward to in this machine. What's your driving force for wanting a this baby.

Best comment I've ever heard after a crash...."Dang, I was just starting to like that feathering spindle, too..."

Couldn't you just read the posts from last year?? I think the biggest thing everyone is looking forward to is it actually being released LOL. I have no personal interest in the Aurora but love reading the BS that people have put up with and still want one!! Reminds me of the "Lock Stock and two smoking barrels" idea for making money.

The Aurora is going to be awesome when it comes out.

Is this the Support Group for counseling for all those guys who put up a deposit and can't get a heli or their money back ?

Sorry, wrong information posted..............

"If you have a $100 pre-order, you are MORE than welcome to place an order and use that $100 towards some other product that we carry."

He was asking for new input. Since you have no personal interest in the Aurora, why are you responding to this thread or even looking in this section of the forum?? Thanks for actually helping the thread.:thumbdown:

Yes, that's the most entertaining thing for me, is the cheerleaders who continue to trumpet the allmighty Aurora. Will they hang onto the sinking ship even as their heads fall below water:)

But there really is no PROOF that it's a better flying or more durable machine than the N9.

Who was comparing the Aurora to the Synergy n9 in this thread? How did this post help the thread?

I don't think he was asking for that. The way I read it was that he wanted to know why people were interested in the model, even if they were upset about the time delay.

In general, don't jump on someone's thread just to put either the poster down or to provide background noise that doesn't actually contribute to the thread at all. Just so we are clear, I'm not an Avant guy and I've never owned one. As a point of fact, I have almost all Align models (4 of them) and the remaining four are all Miniature Aircraft. Frankly, all of you are goading for an argument and stirring up BS here. Please keep that crap on the otheRR site.

The fact of the matter is Rubix just wanted to know ,FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL INTERESTED IN THE MACHINE,what it is they are looking forward to with the Aurora. He also stated this wasnt a "time to release" bashing thread, yet you and the others felt compelled to turn it into that.
Maybe its time to shut your piehole and move on:roll:

Just to put this thread back on track: and Seeing how i currently OWN a AVANT FX this is what i'm looking forward to about the Aurora most (I plan on purchasing 2 and a conversion for the FX when it gets realesed so i plan to have 3! aurora's).

1. One way bearing in the clutch assembly instead of the "pressed pin" in the FX setup.
2. Shorter frames w/ a wider tank that help w/ the CG
3. "sprague clutch" one way on main shaft
3. Torque Tube tail drive instead of the belt on my FX
4. Avant specific tail rotor parts instead of the "cheap" hirobo tail on my FX
5. Avant specific fan and fan duct.

most of ya are probly thinking.. why are ya interested in that? Well.. if you'd had as much Tail rotor and high frequency vibration issues as i have w/ the FX when i first got it, you'd look forward to that too.

If you had been the only one and only made one reply, there probably wouldn't have been anything said. But there were three comments made (the only at the time) that jumped out of the box fast. The first 5 comments were all negative and didn't address what the thread was started to be.

Long and short is that other sites allow that type of thing to go on and on and on. Most people here will let one or two comments fly by that are "off topic", but not when the first 5 on a thread are that way and the next 3 have to put it back on track. Eight posts before the thread really got down to business. Don't take it personally since the result wasn't directed only at you.
