for those of you using a lipo alarm, what voltage should i set mine to? i am using a 3s lipo and i was wondering if there is a relation between the 80% rule and pack voltage?? if i fly my packs around 5 mins that is about 80% of the pack. but is there a certian voltage that equeals 80% while flying?

so that when flying, when i hear the alarm go off at that voltage i have flown the 80% or is this not how it works? i understand that a lipo cell should not go below 3 volts but at that point i would think 3 volts is more than 80% and i shouldnt run the pack down more than 80%. hope this question makes sense?? thanks

Pete (Elfiernz) sets his alarms to 3.31 - 3.34 (IIRC) volts per cell when he ships them. That works bout to about 80% when measured under load (as a lipo alarm does while flying).

the voltage at 80% of the mah is depedent on the current drawn. So your cutoff voltage will depend on your setup.
