So, how are folks connecting the V-Balance to the main leads when you have a Dean's on the pack?

I could see two ideas:

1) build an adapter cable from bananas to Deans - not sure where to get banana "sockets" that aren't made to attach to a box

2) chop the banana leads from the V-Balance, and solder on a Dean's.

Just curious what folks are actually doing. I'd prefer 1, but not sure how to accomplish it.

I was looking for inline banana jacks and nver could find any.

I saw somewhere the idea of just using the proper size brass tubing. :) Flatten one end, solder to wire/Deans and add heat shrink.

I soldered Dean's on mine since everything a have got has Deans on it, it's all compatable.

Yup. Cut the banana off (ouch ?) and solder a deans on it.

I got my V-Balance today, and all there is to the female banana plug is a plated tube with one end cut half off lengthwise for about 5mm. So the brass tubing idea probably would work, and making a couple cuts with a hacksaw might be better than hammering it flat.

You could always try these bullet motor connectors,..... might work

Well, time to look the fool. Just like ChasHeliCop suggests, bullet connectors work fine. I really should have seen that before!

Thanks again, all!
