Does anyone have the BC8 charger software? Do you have problems with the software being unstable and shutting down on its own? Please help

Interesting...I've only used it a few times, but not that you mention it, I do remember it shutting down. At the time, I thought that perhaps I had shut it down without thinking about it.

The first time that it did it with me I was looking at the screen when it happened. I started it back up and it went back to working but the timer starts over in the program (It will be correct on the charger.) I e-mailed them about it and they sent me a reply with another usb driver to try but it did not help. I have tried configuring the port in different ways but can not find anything that helps yet. I was hoping that someone on this forum with the same charger might know the trick.

Check the windows USB driver. More than likely it is the original one from the initial install. Update that driver from and see of that helps. This driver update has helped others.

The people at batam e-mailed me with a new usb driver to try but I do not know if it is installed correctly. The program still does the same thing even after I tryed installing thier updated usb driver. Maybe I did something wrong during installation. What is the driver date on the updated driver or do you have the version # of the updated driver? I could check this info to see if mine is correct. Thanks

What driver are you refering to when you say the windows usb driver?

Or should I say how do you update the windows usb driver? I could not find it listed in device manager.
