I have it running on my desktop, but I also have a Dell notebook computer.
I rarely travel much, but It would be nice to be able to take the sim with me.
Can I install 3.5 in my notebook and make it work, or will it not let me due to the copyright thing? Sorry for the gibberish, I'm sure some of you computer guys are laughing at me right now:rolling

You can install RF on both of your computers but you have to use the same "interlink" controller for both.

Yah I gave it a try, it works fine. I thought maybe I needed to enter the keys with an online connection or something.
Thanks for the help though:)

You can run it on two computers, like p00rboi said, but you cannot update to the latest version.

I know, I take back my comment. I have now updated two computers to .065 with no problem.

technically you're violating the liscense of your software rendering it illegal...functionally it will work yes

Nooooooooooot exactly. I say it like that because it's an iffy issue. The software has to be registered with a valid InterLink to work. Think of it ... you register two computers to work with ONE InterLink. Can you use both at the same time? No ... so technically you're just registering it to have another place to use it, since you can't use both at the same time.

I suppose so...I was just thinking the regular software licensing issues...hadn't taken into account the fact that it won't work without the interlink

I have 3.5 on (4) computers, my home desktop, my (2) laptops, and my work desktop. You just have to carry your InterLink around to use the 3.5.

It will not work on 2 computers on the G4 version if you upgrade from the edgeknife website. G3.5 is fine to work on any number of computers.

If that is true, there is another reason not to upgrade to G4.

This procedure works fine for me in 3.5. You may need to give it a try. Basically, you only need to performed the software upgrade on one computer, then copy the 2 realflight folders (Program Files\Common Files\KnifeEdge and Program Files\RealFlightG3) to a USB drive. On the computer with the old software, rename these 2 folders to some other names, then copy the 2 folders that you just copied to USB drive into their place.
I have G3.5 on 3 computers. Only one of them in on the high speed internet. This is how I upgrade G3.5 software on my 3 computers.
