lubing main shaft bearings

How often do you need to do this? I think this may be where my screeching is coming from. Will any 3 in 1 oil do? (same stuff I use for the main shaft and tail slider?

Any light weight oil will work. I would get some 0W-30 synthetic oil and use that. It will be way cheaper in the long run.

If its screeching, its probably already shot, and needs to be replaced.

I use teflon based spray oil on bearings and also on main shaft ans swash. Work great and it is not dirty.
