I read in various places how a lot of people hated the click with the stock tx. I always wondered why, I kinda liked it. Now I know, the more I fly my cp pro and the better I am getting I hate that click. One click up it climbs, one click down in sinks. No happy medium.

I read somewhere a guy suggests to put shrink tubbing around the metal arm that 'clicks' against the gear. I did that for my simulator tx but didnt like it, it's got a 'click' when first moving it from an indent in the tubbing from sitting. Anyways this is what I did to my cp pro's tx at first I moved the arm over so it didnt touch the gear at all but that was too loose so I ended up just flipping the arm over so the 'V' bend that 'clicks' in the gear is facing away from the gear. Now its nice and smooth, much more enjoyable.

If you bend the metal clicker arm back a little bit it will be a little smoother, I have mine on there, but its bent back so the throttle is really loose but doesnt quite swing freely

Yep. I also took out the spring for the rudder. U can point the tail in any direction and leave it that way. Several people like it but you may not. Worth a try though. :)

Bend the metal or take it off and put it on backwards. That way you don't lose it and you can bend it to create variable friction.

I read somewhere a guy suggests to put shrink tubbing around the metal arm that 'clicks' against the gear.

I've got a piece of fuel tubing over mine and bent it slightly to relieve the pressure a bit. Works decent. Seems smooth and not as loose as it gets when completely removing the metal arm.

...found that tip somewhere online... :)
