But I'll tell you this much... the mfr'r of those blades it getting some darn good publicity out of you four (including Finless obviously). It would be awfully sporting of them to get each of you a set once this thread runs its course.

Actually I contacted HotHeli with that suggestion. If I understand their response correctly, I think they did offer several sets to Finless, but he declined so as to remain unbiased about them; and instead asked several pilots to test them. My apologies if I got the story wrong.

yes, all 3 contestants are going to get blades. the winner of this poll will get the set from finless. i'll contact the other two and get their details afterward.

as far as what i was trying to tell you via email, spork:

two new sets were sent to finless to review. between finless and i, we decided a group of unbiased trial videos from several pilots would be the best way to review the blades. afterward the vids had been shot and posted, finless had the idea to post a poll to vote for the best video, awarding one of the sets to the winner--finless keeping the other set for himself for his trouble (at this point i didn't really mind what he did with them--i sent them with the full expectation that they would not be returned)

are you all happy you made me ruin the surprise now? ;)

By the way Cudaboy I flew the CRAP out of mine on my Nitro last Saturday.... These blades are now my favorites! Tell them to make some for the 450 and the new 500!!!!!

600s are the focus for the remainder of '07. FT does make 690s and we had planned them for mid-1st quarter 2008. (and, purportedly some 700s may be on the way.)

just finished a day of flying , got my new Funtech 600 blades, they are very responsive to cyclic and pitch changes,and very stable, autos are smooth. now all i need is a set for my Logo and Synergy.

cudaboy, thanks , i had 5 flights today and 4 yesterday and 3 the day before, i love those blades. i dont about the mfg process but they respond like my VbladesTST and are as stable as my SABs and auto like i got wings, awsome stuff, all ineed is 690s and 515s.
