Hi Guys

I've just purchased Pheonix and absolutely love it. It's my first simulator, other than FMS, so don't have anything to compare against...but it's great!

Just some advice please.

Firstly, how do I set up the heli for night flying? Can't find where to activate the glow wires.

Secondly, when I go into the model edit selection, there are many many differnt variables to adjust. Next to thes variables on the left, are boxes that you can place a "x" in. What do these boxes do? I assume activate the control. But mine haven't any x's in them and all seems fine!

Regards

Neil

Both of these questions are covered in the manual. If you don't have it, you can download it from here (http://www.phoenix-sim.com/downloads.htm).

The Night-light Glow is on the menu as shown here:

http://www.helifreak.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=30187&stc=1&d=1194450500

Next you need to select a Nightfly model and nightFlight field.

As to what the left box on the setting dialog means, again from the PhoenixRC Manual:

Each attribute in the list has the four components as shown above. The left-hand check-box allows you to enable the inflight tuning option which is covered below...

In-flight tuning
In-flight tuning is a unique feature which lets you select one or more attributes to edit while actually flying your model. This lets you fine-tune the model's behaviour more easily, and makes finding the right setup quicker than ever before.

To activate in-flight tuning for an attribute, enable the check-box to the left of the attribute name in the attribute list. When you accept the alterations and return to the simulation, you will see each selected attribute appear with its own slider and edit-box on the main window:

Altering the slider or edit box changes the attribute on your model in real-time, and also alters the selected variant. To save the changes to the model, you will need to re-enter the edit aircraft menu and confirm the changes by clicking the finished button.

Thanks for the help. Only manual I got with the program is the online help function and couldn't find anything about it in there.

I understand how to select a night fly field but where do I get a night fly model?

Ok thanks...got it! Thanks for the help. For some reason I thought I could still fly my Trex600 with a night setup.

Thanks again
