As for the Tshirts. I have let Bill make the shirts every year and do the design. He has always done an excellent job and the shirts are always popular. It has always been a unique design that is different from other events. The year he did the Do the Ditch shirts. We sold 150 of those shirts in less than 10 mins. The shirt Bill uses is a great quality, tagless tshirt. And he uses many colors in the design, so it always is very noticeable.

Friday and Saturday are the days to be at the event. With Saturday being the biggest day. Normally by Friday evening we will have 100 plus pilots registered.

David, Thanks for letting me work on your event shirts. It is an honer to design shirts for a "World Class Event" like Birmingham. I have always tried to design shirts with whats popular in mind. I have put a MA heli on at least 3/4 of the shirts I have printed in the past 4 years. So whats that tell you.

The Due The Ditch Shirt was one of my best efforts.....until this year!

THIS YEARS SHIRTS ROCKS! and the graphic on the front will leave you laughing as it has the bosses likeness on it. The design has changed some. But I don't think I will post the final graphic, Everyone will have to wait until Cindy & I get there somewhere around 10:00AM. on Friday. I think you will all need to buy at least two! I have printed some with pockets & some without. If there are any left over I will offer them online.

Anyone from the TX, or LA area heading to BHam that has room for a rider?
I'm heading east from dallas, but not returning to TX after the event.
met up with a pretty good pilot on a fixed income that wants to attend, however he could afford to meet someone part way and contribute to fuel in exchange for a ride and a safe place to park his vehicle.
PM for details.

David,

I am planning on attending the Birmingham event this weekend. I am new in the hobby and am excited about seeing all the heli's and great flying. I saw on a previous post you mentioned something about being registered. I recently joined the AMA and they emailed me a temporary form to use till they mail me a permanent card. Is their anything else I need to do to be able to fly at the event?

Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Thanks,

Wilder

You should be good with the temporary pass. Remember to bring $20 for the landing fee. Also, you need to post your location so the Gwinnett guys can get you to come out next time we fly.

What if I don't land?.... and crash instead, can I get the fee waived?:YeaBaby:
