HAHA! I think I saw more crashes at B-ham then I've seen my entire life. Pretty sure if David refunded all that money, he'd be in negative big time. :YeaBaby:
Can't wait to see you there Kevin! By the way, I'll be the 20 yr old with the yellow GT hat and the no canopy Stratus. So make sure to introduce yourself!

Is the landing fee for anyone who has brought a heli to fly, or anyone that shows up period? I don't have a heli other than the CX2 and it's definitely not coming out there. :)

landing fees are only to fly, spectators are free.

I am not in the same dimension with the pilots I have seen at B-ham the last 3 or 4 years I have been going, so I definitely won't be flying. But I would like for someone to take a look at my Raptor 50 and see if they can work out a problem I am having. I am not yet AMA and don't have much extra cash right now. If I pay my $20 landing fee, could I find someone to fly my heli for me to see if they can fix it?

I am sure there will be plenty of pilots willing to help out with your Raptor 50 even though you are not AMA and paying the landing fee. Just ask !

Anybody have some elemental magic abilities willing to cast a Ultimate Magic Circle of Warding to keep the rain away?
Sorry, been watching a bit too much anime this week. As per usual, I won't know if I'm coming until probably tomorrow. Most of the Tally freaks have backed out due to prior commitments, fears about the weather, gas too expensive, etc.

Well I can understand the expense of gas. But the weather elements has never really affected the event for the 3 days. In the past years if it has rained, it may rained for a couple hours at the most and just lightly then.
This time of year in Alabama weather is different every couple of hours. It is going to be a great event. There is pilots already at the field enjoying the site and the weather.

David, How about picking up some of those stick on name tags? Would be nice for new and old Freaks to hook up. I hate when I leave an event and see who all was there and never knew it.

I just came in from the field. Beautiful day here and some flying took place today. There is now 7 RV's already set up at the field and 1 tent. The first vendor arrived today and will be set up tomorrow.
Yes B&B Hobbies will have about 6 cases of Cool Power 30% to sell. The fuel will be fresh. LOL They are picking it up at Morgan when they come thru Enterprise, AL on Thursday. Will be headed back to the field in the AM to hang out with the Gang.
Will and Finless arrived this afternoon and are set up and ready. I introduced Finless to some of his southern cousins. There is three Jackass's ( Donkey's) at the field. LOL
Also Clintstone and Greg Alderman are here along with Gail and Steve Dixon and Alan Bonner. We even had a Damn Yankee at the event. It is a Minnesotian that moved to South Carolina. LOL IT should be rocking again on Thursday as the early arrivees enjoy some of the great flying weather .
LithiumStatic ( Jeremy) I got your AMA confirmation. Your ready to go when you get here. Look forward to meeting you. Hope everyone has a safe trip to the event.

you have to factor in pee breaks as well......add 3 hours to your trip. doing an average speed of 65 is almost impossible.........should have taken me 10 1/2 hrs to go from Frankin KY to Cambridge Ont the other day but ended up taking 14 hrs....just the way it goes.
