at 7MPG I figure all the gas stops near banks for loans will average us about 12 hours..

doing an average speed of 65 is almost impossible.........
It is almost impossible for me also. It is much easier for me to average 70 mph. LOL
560 miles from my home to AMA in Muncie. I can make it in 8 hours.

The land owner has a good size Kubota tractor and a chain. Should be able to pull anyone out if needed.

Looks like possible rain Friday and Saturday. Is there shelter, or is it out in the open? Will there be enough tables for everyone? I'm coming either Saturday or Sunday, weather looks better for Sunday right now.

Otherwise make sure your motel is close to the field

I'm not staying overnight, just a day trip.
What's the best turnout day usually?

If you are only coming for one day, then saturday is the best choice, sure there are folks there now, but saturday afternoon will be the peak. Sunday is pack up, drive home day for most folks.

I'm loaded. Change that. The car is loaded. Leaving out early morning. Can't wait to get there. This was the greatest event I attended last year. Looking forward to seeing some serious ditch action.
