I have 4 new Hitec 5995 servos. Is there any foreseen problem using these under a 6 volt system? Trying to save some money and use what I have around the house.
The are rated at .13 at 6 volts; just want to make sure, as I am just getting into helicopters.
Thanks,
Bobbie

Is that the 5995TG? They should be ok. They are probably overkill by a longshot on the torque side.
Actually, those servos are designed for 6.0/7.2V use, so running them on 4.8 probably isn't best anyhow. Just make sure that you step-down your tail servo if necessary. Be careful in your setup too, they rotate 180* so your probably going to have to drop your ATV quite a bit.

Thanks, I was going to use an Arizona Regulator.

I looked hard at those, but for my capabilties, I think I'd wait. I'd hate to destroy something that costly in a crash. I went for the Align 2 in 1, works great, but its 5.8V which would be putting those servos at the low end. LMAO not like it matters.... you could lift a truck with them. :P
