A carb number 197 is on my carb from walbro (Zenoah G22).
This engine is in a X-Cell graphite gasser. Is this carb OK?
Cause its engine is running a little hot (195-200F)
Lowspeed needle is 1 turn out and highspeed 1 1/4 out. If I richened it, its burping and tail wagging.
Is this carb usable for a heli engine?? (There,s a lot about the 643 carb.)

603 would be your best bet for a 22.
Those temps are ok for this engines.

Well, I hear more about 644 and 643's.
Where's the 603 comming from, or like mine carb the 197??
Anyone?

The 603 is the previous carb to the 640 series (43,44,45). But is more easy to tune
so this is your best bet. You can also get the 64* series and would performe the same.

Eric:
Flew a 167A and 197 on an xcell gasser, g-23. Your temps are fine, especially if you have the plastic cooling fan on it. Unless you are having problems with starting/flying, I suggest you continue to run it.

OK, Thanks James.
Later on I have had 230F so my question is what is definitly too hot!
Tuesday 26 I'am going to the States for 3 weeks to Las Vegas and I'am seriously thinking about buying a Zenoah 231, but where in vagas? have to figure that out yet.
Eric.
