Hello All,

I am proud to announce within a few months our first Complete Helicopter kit Designed by Rotorworkz

We are calling our new line up The "Outrage" Series first to start on the market is our G5 model
Based on its original predecessor G4 an upgrade kit which had a Great impact on the mini heli Market.

We decided to make our approach on the market with a size machine first because it is what originally put Rotorworkz on the map.

With the rock solid frame design like G4 only a few items have been changed that was to make maintenance on frame mechanics easier.
Such as easier access to all servos while also allowing use of newer generation servos such as the popular Hitec HS65 which was not around at the time of G4's design.
Next would be the ability to Replace main drive gears without frame disassembly.

Frame components will still be made High impact resistant 1.5mm thick CF materials
All frame hardware will be Top Quality Steal metric screws unlike G4 which had #4-40 American Thread which was tough for our overseas pilots to find replacements
All Bearing, boom blocks, and Landing gear mount will be made with from Anodized Aluminum.
and my favorite part a "one" piece Ultra light weight Fiberglass canopy resembling the original Vacuum formed plastic G4 canopy.

To start this topic off here is a Cad rendered picture the head assembly.

Some key features are:
This Particular head will feature a programmable design that will allow you to set your flying style from Mild to Wild!!!!
Thrust bearings installed in main blade grips
One piece Dampners

The list could continue But I will add more as development is finalized

the Blue is "NOT" the color of the Anodize we will be going with a Black in Shade :)

Head design looks like it will rock! Very adjustable for different flying styles and even adjustable delta's!

Cool....

You're such a tease!

There is a notable lack of flybar in the picture, excepting the holes present for one. OTOH, there appears to be a through-bolt in the head where the flybar would normally pass...

EDIT: maybe not a through-bolt. Dang I hate rampant speculation! ;)
EDIT2: In retrospect, looking at that head and coming to the conclusion it might be flybar-less may be the dumbest thought I've had yet...

Looks great! Charley..... I'm itching bad for a nice heli that swings 425mm blades. (hint, hint)

I would like a heli that swings 425mm blades and doesn't cost $500.00.

I am sure when we got some mods of Charley done on the HDX500 it would be a great heli at prices of 199usd or fully bling at 350usd. They use 425mm blades.

I watched that 1 video the HDX500 on the on youtube from Australia I think it was. Its looking good. Was that the SA version? I just think that Align is getting over priced.
