While I await the arrival of my Logo 600 3D I need to decide which motor to get. I thought I would move my Orbit 30-12 from my Logo 14 to the 600 and put my Tango 45-07 back in the 14 but I have sold the Tango.
I see that the Actro's are popular and many mention the Neu's.
My flying style is basic/mild 3D. Nothing to aggresive. I will be using 10s 3700mAh EVO20's. I would like to get a good balance of power and flight times. Right now the Logo 14 w/flybar gives me a good 6 min of flight time and good power with -13/+13 pitch. Right now I have a 15, 16, and 17 tooth pinion for the 600 because I had planned on using the Orbit or Tango.
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
John

Personally, I will be using a Hacker A50-14S on my Logo 600, probably with 10S 4350's.

Hey,
I would go for the Plettenberg 30-12 Heli Expert on a 16 or 17T pinion.
Weight of the motor is only 300gr. and pulls some serious power. ;)
Neu 1912-1y, actro 24-4, z-power z50-800, hacker a50-14s, orbit 30-12. That's in order from most to least powerful, that'd work with your batteries.
Can't speak for the "heli expert" version of the 30-12 though.

The Neu 1912/1Y has a kv of 825 what pinion do you plan/recommend using? I like the price.
I did some more research and the Neu 1915H/1Y is nice with a kV of 625 that would use on the pinion I already have. It produces 2700 watts at peak power. That's 200 more than the Neu 1912H/1Y. The only problem is that there aren't any available of either motor or the Actros. :-(

13 tooth for the 1912-1y. It'll run just peachy for head speed at 75% governed.
The 1915-1y is what I'm currently running and it would, without a doubt, destroy 10s 20c 3700mah packs in very short order. It pulls alot of current, but also makes alot of power !
Don't go by the neu wattage specs, they're very conservative. The 1915-1y will do 4000 watts easily and the 1912-1y will run 2800-3000 watts no problem.
