Everyday I am more confident with the cp pro I can hover (controlled) in my backyard 97% of the time. I fly forward (no turns) and bring her back, I take her up about 40 feet and bring her down. I just think I need a bigger area to actually fly this thing - reacts to the sticks faster then my brain LOL maybe eventually I will be able to 'fly' in smaller areas. I've also had a couple of flights/hovers with no training gear with no damage, but I put them back on so I can see it better.

Oh sorry for that ramble, was just excited and wanted to tell someone, wifey just frowns whenever I bring it up $$$

The question is: Sometimes not always the tail is glitchy. Is that just the nature of the beast or is the G90 fighting my sub trims and should adjust them? I have tried various things nothing seems to change and since its not consistent I am assuming its just how it is.

I have the same problem with my CP+ and G90. It happens once in a while where the tail doesn't hold. I guess thats how it is with a very lightweight heli. As long as the tail doesn't swing completely around and puts you in 'nose in', you should be ok.

Well I hate to inform you of this but we recently found some major issues with the tail not always holding. My buddy bought a new blade cp pro and soon there after put the g90 on it. The tail held great at first and it was a pleasure to fly, but he kept complaining about the tail creeping. We increased gain and just couldn’t get it to hold. We also went to separates thinking maybe a crash messed up the 3-n-1. Well that didn’t help either. Finally I told him to take apart his transmitter as we did see signs of glitching on his cyclic servos. He took the entire transmitter apart and cleaned it all out. He even blew it out with his air compressor. Bingo, the signal was smooth again and the helicopter flew perfectly for a while. It is starting to act up again and all we can figure to do is buy another transmitter.

What we figured was happening was a bad signal from his transmitter was telling the tail to move. He would then have to counteract it to hold the heli steady. We could see this pretty easy with separates. Once everything was initialized on the ground the tail would begin to spin up trying to counteract the rotational forces. Except, there were no forces to counteract. The receiver was getting a bad signal from the transmitter or the gyro was busted. We knew the gyro was ok because we tested other gyros and the exact same thing occurred. We could stop the rotation with the transmitter, but once it stopped it would start up again and get progressively faster. There was something wrong with the transmitter. Interestingly enough, we also burnt out a few tail motors during this time as we were over pushing the tail and heating it up. Once we cleaned the transmitter all problems went away. So, long story short, the transmitter sucks and is making a decent helicopter a problem for a lot of beginners out there.

THANK YOU!!!

I thought I was going nuts! sometimes its perfect and then all of a sudden glitchy like its getting interference. I am still VERY NEW to this and only have 2 stock batterries for it but I do notice less problems with one vs the other.

I will just take it easy and get more familiar with hovering and short forward/backward movments until the B400 comes out and then will figure out how to program the dx6i to control it.

Don't buy another transmitter !
Open your transmitter, use a contact cleaner such as Kontakt 60 to clean the Potentiometers.
