... to get it right...

<rant on>

After two months of waiting for my X9303, it finally shows up today. So, I get it home, pull it out of the box, and Horizon sent a &*%#$ airplane radio! I was there when the order was placed through my LHS, and I know the right number was ordered...

So, now that the next shipment isn't due 'till mid December, who knows when I'll be getting a radio. :arggg: LHS is waiting for word back from Horizon, but I'm probably going to get a refund, and order it from a vendor who has it in stock (assuming I cand find one). Way to screw both your customers and dealers Horizon... :mad:

Is it really that hard to check the part # on the box before shipping it??

Keep in mind that you can use the airplane radio to fly heli's. The firmware is exactly the same; just select heli from the setup menu. The main difference is that the switches are labeled for airplane functions rather than heli functions. I use an airplane DX7 to fly my heli's and my planes.

On the x9303, the switches are different. For example, the airplane version has a 'trainer' momentary button instead of the 3 position flight mode switch on the heli model. If it were a simple matter of labelling, and removing the throttle ratchet, I'd just keep it, but unfortunately, it's not...

Besides, for $600+, I should be able to get what I asked for!;)

i AGREE i have the radio you where waiting for and i would highly recomend one.
send it back and find the one you want it is 10 times as easy to program then my DX7 they both work great in all respects and i like the cross compatability with spectrum but it really is a joy to program .
Hope you find one soon
