New lipo question

I have a couple of brand new evo 2170's that havent been charged yet. I'm wondering,without charging, if there is any harm in using one to power up the heli just to program the ESC and set up the head.

I wouldn't take the chance of running my lipo down below 3.2 volts, no sense in ruining a lipo, unless it's an Air Thunder or Kong Power. If you had a receiver pack, you could power it with that, otheriwse I would charge them.
