Hi Bob.

Just wondering if you can charge the two packs separately 3s. IE two chargers or one charger on pack at a time.

Downloading the video now. (It will take me more than one Menut to download, Dial up is all I have :( )

500 size is a great size!! Very cool to use your 450 packs in pairs and get that much time. Awesome!!

Yep, the quoted times and performance from the T500 testing are definitely much better than what was being speculated before the prototype was flown. It sounds like you can't compare it to the Lepton even though it runs similar blade sizes.

ESC under the battery tray right behind the battery seems like a hot place to put it. Does the air flow through that part of the heli? If it catches fire you wouldn't be able to remove it quickly either :).

Any idea how TRex 500 would perform compared to a 600? and also a picture that compares 450, 500, 600 Helis size will be awesome.

You will need a charger that does 6S and you will need a balancer adapter to convert from 2x3s to a 6S configuration.

This is gonna be a big deal topic on the 500 with so many people tryng to use their 3s packs.

wow!! too cool... but with all those helis available, i didn't see a side by side by side comparison (450-500-600) that would have been very telling. but i know will all the excitement it would have slipped my mind aswell. thanks Bob your the man, as you can see everyone appriciates it and this hobby would be less without you.

Andy and I went flying today with it!!!!!! I will have video up of it flying here at my park tomorrow AM along with video showing it's size next to a 450 and 600!!!!

thanks finless, i am now more satisfied to wait for the pro version with the tt upgrade to be released. until then my 600 and 450 will do just fine.

Bad choice I think! This heli WILL be hot man and good chance the 450 will get shelved once you have this heli.

The widths are all the same but will give you a really good visual of the size

Bob, anyway you can tell us if the FlightPower 6S 2500mah pack will fit this little bad boy? Some for example that do not run a 3S 450 or would want a single pack solution might be inclined to know if a 6S 2500mah pack would fit.
