Hi I'm new here and am wondering if there is anybody who can help me.
I just picked up the new hanger for FSone to try and get a handle on the Trex.
Is there a way to adjust pitch? I was hoping to lower the head speed abit untill I get a better feel for her.
I am still working on a steady hover and figure if I can't even Sim it, how can I take her out with any confidence.
Oh, I am DX7 it. Thanks gang

Hi Icewing,
I'm in the same boat just picked up FSOne, and using with my DX7. Haven't figured out myself how to set pitch separate, it seems to only want throttle input. I'm going to play around a bit and see if I can get a handle on it. When I figure it out I'll post the setup.
P.S. Don't sweat it on flying the real thing. My T-Rex 450 SE is a piece of cake to fly compared to the sim!

Thanks Hurriken, your reply helped me to think about it, and I am learning to ease up on the throttle.
I am so happy that I bought FSone.,, Man, what a pile of loot it's saved me!
I am learning to keep the skid side down for now:lol:

I know what you mean by saving $'s, I tried the "I'm going to fly this if it kills me route", and got expensive quick. I have Reflex XTR, but it quit working on my PC for some reason early this year. It is quite a bit more customizable than FS One, but I think you can do some of the customization if you get digging around.
Here's my fix for the custom pitch for our T-Rex'es.
Hold on to your boots! This gets pretty hairy! There must be an easier way, but I haven't found it yet. Think I'll contact the Mfg. and see if they can enlighten me. Sometimes I miss the days of printed manuals!
Refer to the two attachments so you can see what I'm talking about.
1) Open a My Computer window and browse to: C:\Program Files\FS One\RadioEquip\Tables
2) Search for one of the normal pitch curve files like: H_BladeCP_PitchCurve_Normal.tbl
3) Double Click on the file, Windows won't know what to open it with, choose Notepad.
4) Do a File, SaveAs, and name the file something you'll remember.
5) Now go in and add lines, and values like in my image.
(It works on kind of a graphing scale deal, I found I had to play around with the figures a few times to get the heli to react the way I wanted, The curve that I have set up calms down the pitch on the T-Rex model a bunch)
FS One Setup:
1)Open FS One.
2) Select Single Player Freestyle
3) Select your DX 7 Transmitter, and go to Edit
4) Select Mixing (Tx mixing screen appears)
5) Select Pitch_Curve_Normal in the right pane, and click Edit
6) Click on the Pitch Curve Table cell
7) Search down the list and find your custom file you made earlier, and select it (if you can't find it make sure you saved it in the original directory)
8) Click Select, OK, and keep working your way out to the flying menu
9) Give it a fly, and tweak the numbers in your custom file till you get what you like.
ok, back to basics...how do I connect/setup my DX7 on FSOne? I've got the cables setup, but the controls aren't responding correctly. Is there a custom setup I need to perform rather than just plug and play? I've been using the TacCon controller, but would much prefer the real thing!
Thanks for your help!
nevermind...got it to work....AIRPLANE MODE duh.
