Hello all, I just finished my first build on a raptor 30V2. I made sure i followed the directions to the T. (I think) I made sure i turned the belt counter-clockwise to 90 degrees. At the me tell you that belt was very hard to put on. I couldn't push the boom in any further and there was bearely any slck to get it over the grar. Anyway, i do not have the motor yet so i skipped that step, hope that was ok. The issue i have is when the main blades spin, (by hand), if you are standing on the right side of the heli and the tail blades are up and down, the leading edge of the top one is facing back. and the main blades, standing on the same side, blades going from front to back, the leading edge of the one in front is facing you. Is this correct because when i spin the blade the tail spins the wrong way.

If you stand on the same side as the tail rotor it will turn way from the canopy and main blades. I hope this helps.

If it was hard to get your belt on you have more than 1/4 twist in the belt. With 1/4 twist in the belt there is a lot of slack when the boom is pushed all the way in.

Make sure yopu have the rotor end of the tail boom in the guide holes. I saw one the other they had replaced the tail boom on and didnt get the rotor assembly all the way on the boom which caused the belt to be to tight.

You should twist the belt 1/4 turn to the right. If you stand on the RIGHT side of the heli the opposite site where the muffler is ( :) ) The tailblades will Rotate UP torwards the rotor blades.

Thanks for the help guys. It seems that i did not have the case that the tail drive grear is in up all the way on the boom. Now everything works great. Just waiting on the motor and servo for the tail and i am ready to fly.
